These photos were taken within a 1-block radius in a neighborhood on Detroit's eastside. Last month, I rode through this neighborhood at around 1 a.m. on my bike. That 1 a.m. bike ride inspired the above verse. The above verse inspired me to examine dark places in urban areas and the emotion they evoke.  More places to come.
